My name’s Marija 👋

I coach ambitious lawyers to uniquely design their careers by leveraging their legal skills to make intentional and bold career moves 🚀

I’m also regularly on the mic on The Career Confidence Podcast🎙️ interviewing incredible people & sharing my insights on all things career, mindset and purpose.

9 years ago I quit the law thinking I wasn’t cut out for it.

It was my first job as a lawyer and at the time I thought there was no other way to be a “successful” lawyer, other than to climb the corporate ladder.

When I realised I didn’t want this path, I thought to myself “well that’s it, there goes my legal career”.

After a few months of feeling like a failure…

something within me shouted “there must be another way to use my legal skills and actually enjoy what I do”.

I didn’t realise it at the time but this was the catalyst that prompted me to design my legal career MY way.

Intentionally designing my legal career has created alignment in my life and as a result the following have been possible:

  • Working part-time and running a career coaching business and helping countless women make bold career moves

  • Adding value to each role based on my strengths

  • Speaking at a legal conference 

  • Moving from private practice, to in-house to an innovative firm

  • Being a finalist in the category of Thought Leader Of The Year for the Women In Law Awards

I would not have thought the above ☝️ were possible 7 years ago.
